![]() Basically, because shift sold me a lemon, and the insurance for the lemon, they legally had fix it. Keep on hiring people like Erik Svedson :) He definitely helped make my car buying experience smooth and hassle free! I really really love my new ride !!!įinal update.basically the car they sold me was a lemon, the insurance/extended warranty that shift sold me only covered me by pure luck and a good rep from my repair shop who basically told me what to say he fought for me too lol. I personally prefer doing things online, and it's great to know that they are faster in their response times! With the added improvements, it will only get better from here! I would say, don't write off Shift, there are real human beings that genuinely care about creating a positive customer experience! As with any dealership, make sure you do your research on the car you're looking to purchase, "bells & whistles", vehicle history and etc. Here is when it get's interesting, I didn't realize that and most of us might be aware that the company is restructuring, to make sure customers get the best experience possible! Well I got caught up in the middle of the "Shift" and had a slight hiccup, but Erik, the Head of Financing Operations, personally called me to help me out with the situation that exceeded my expectations! I knew what I prequalified for, I gave him my letter and he ended up finding a better rate, and saved me a little bit of money on my monthly payment! He texted me of the status and what paper work to sign and when I was going to get the next round of documents. As soon as I got my deposits in, the car was delivered the next day. ![]() Understand, that I had to wait on my part because it was a little challenging, trying to find insurance on that particular car, but they worked with me. ![]() A customer service rep walked me through my options and we narrowed down to a 330i xdrive, loved the color and the features and I was sold. I initially went for a GLC 300, but then I decided against it. I saw an array of cars to choose from and started liking the options that I was considering. It was funny because I never heard of Shift, until I saw their signage off of a freeway exit that I frequent for one of my work stops along my route. ![]()
